Our Journey from Kansas City to Budapest
So Far, So Good
We've made it to our first hotel in Budapest, Hungary. Only one piece of luggage was left in Amsterdam and is being delivered to its rightful owner tomorrow.
Luxurious Accommodations
Boy oh boy flying has come a LONG way! Everyone had their own mini TV (pictured below) for our flight overseas. Movies, TV shows, radio programs, and a map to track our airplane through the air kept the group entertained while we weren't sleeping.
Group Nickname
I believe Ashley C deserves the credit for the group nickname that has emerged. "Euro Cats" seems pretty popular among group members thus far. Will this group name eventually turn into a hashtag to use on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook? Time will tell! Ashley C also seems to be taking lots of pictures of the group--something I'm sure many of the moms back in the States will be thankful for.
How are we adjusting to the food?
Tonight we enjoyed a great 3 course meal that was included in the price of our trip. From what I saw everyone enjoyed all 3 courses! I know several people were worried about enjoying the food while abroad, hopefully our first meal helped ease some nerves.
